Cellist Wendy Law gives the World Premiere of Corona Blue by Preston Stahly, on her YouTube channel. Corona Blue rememberers, reflects, and honors the human experience that we all confronted starting one year ago this month.
"I felt compelled to connect with and honor my fellow human beings through photography and music as we all struggle to navigate this pandemic together. As a photographer, I took hundreds of “street portraits” of people who I met while walking through our NYC parks. And as a composer, I felt driven to express my impressions through music.
I’m so grateful to Wendy Law, a friend, neighbor, and colleague, for her collaboration in making this music a reality and for her beautiful performance.”
